I LOVE parties!!! I used to love football. Then the Chargers stabbed me in the heart and now they are dead to me. Now, football is about spending time with friends and FOOD! Food is a huge part of what makes most events. The biggest mistake I see when hosts get overwhelmed is they over commit themselves to making too many things. The best advice I can give for this is to just KILL it on just one or two things and then ask everyone to bring matchy sides. It’s sometimes hard to come up with things that are easy and delicious for big groups. Here is a list of my tried and true to help you out. The way I pick new recipes on All Recipes is the highest stars with the most reviews. Unless it’s an obscure recipe, there must be hundreds or even thousands of reviews for me to attempt one. This site is a gold mine and well worth the $20ish for the annual subscription!
